XERF | Skin Tightening

המטרה בטיפול ברפיון עור היא לשפר את המבנה והתמיכה של העור.

טכנולוגיית ה-XERF מבוססת על Monopolar RF ומשלבת 2 תדרים 6.78 ו-2 MHz על מנת להדק את הרקמה בצורה אופטימאלית.

האנרגיה התרמית יוצרת תגובה ברקמה הכוללת שינוי בסיבי הקולגן הקיימים, ובמקביל מפעילה תהליך ביולוגי הדרגתי של remodeling ו-neocollagenesis.

לכן השינוי אינו מבוסס רק על אפקט מיידי של הידוק. תהליך ה-remodeling ממשיך להתפתח לאחר הטיפול.

במקרה המוצג, תוצאה 8 חודשים לאחר 2 טיפולים, בהם שילבנו גם PLLA כ-biostimulator, כתוספת לתהליך בניית הקולגן.

The XERF Effect: Objectively Measured

I am proud to share that our study on XERF has now been published in Lasers in Medical Science.

Using 3D stereophotogrammetry, volumetric analysis, standardized periorbital measurements, and computerized skin-quality assessment, we were able to objectively quantify changes following treatment.

Our findings demonstrated measurable facial volumetric redistribution, progressive lifting of the eyebrows and upper eyelids, and significant improvements in wrinkles, skin evenness, pores, and oiliness following a single XERF treatment.

A heartfelt thank you to all co-authors and to everyone who supported and contributed to this research.

And, most importantly, thank you to our patients for their trust and for allowing us to continue advancing the science behind the treatments we perform every day.

I am truly excited and proud to share the publication of our latest paper: Repositioning Non-Ablative Fractional Lasers – Molecular and Histological Insights from a Scoping Review.

This project has been an incredible scientific journey, exploring the molecular and histological mechanisms behind non-ablative fractional lasers and, hopefully, contributing to a better understanding of their expanding role in clinical practice.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have worked alongside such inspiring scientists and wonderful colleagues. A heartfelt thank you to Professor Merete Haedersdal, Professor Uwe Paasch, Kevin Jacobsen, and Uffe Høgh Olesen for your knowledge, guidance, and unwavering support throughout this project. Working with all of you has been both an honor and a privilege, and I have learned so much from each of you. Research is never a solo effort, and I am deeply grateful to making this work possible.
