▪️ Broken front teeth and a retained baby tooth ▪️

Over time broken teeth continue to erupt / move down and the gum margins drop down with them!

This results in a step in the gum margins at the front which must be corrected before the teeth are repaired with composite.

The aim of orthodontic treatment in this case is to correct the bite, correct the midlines and restore the correct gum margins.

When the ortho treatment was completed, the patient was then ready to have his teeth re- shaped and restored back to the original anatomy!

Once the tooth whitening was completed the super talented .ambrish.roshan carried out beautiful anterior composites and restored his smile!

A combined team approach is necessary to achieve these fantastic results.

Tidy up time!
This lovely lady had braces approximately 20 years ago as a teenager with a different clinic. She came to us looking for a discreet approach to re- aligning her teeth and getting them to their best!
We treated her with a short course of aligners and she was thrilled with the results!
She now has both fixed retainers on the back of her teeth and removable night time retainers!

We are keen to offer teenagers an opportunity to see how our profession and the dental team works.
We will discuss various dental careers - not just orthodontics - and explore the different roles on the team and the different career pathways within this sector!
The students will have informal talks and discussions every morning with a different theme each day and then a practical session in the afternoon!
We hope that this will be of benefit to transition year students and we look forward to welcoming you all!

EARLY TREATMENT ⏰
Well time and correctly executed treatment can be really effective ✨
An early phase of treatment at age 8-9 years old can either reduce the complexity of the second phase of treatment (when the child has all their permanent teeth) or they may not need any further treatment!
This young man had FIVE active weeks of treatment - during which his mum turned a key in his expander at AGE 10. He also wore a night brace for 5 weeks. After the 5 weeks of turning the key the brace was left in place and he was monitored regularly - initially every 3 months and then every 6 months once the brace was removed. When all the permanent teeth had come through and his bite was so good we decided the NO FURTHER TREATMENT was needed 👌🏻
This is a beautiful example of well time and correctly planned treatment which benefits this young man hugely!
