To all our patients

Due to the Coronavirus Co VID -19 we have decided to close our dental practice for all routine dental treatment . WE OPEN FOR DENTAL EMERGENCIES ONLY FROM 9.30AM TO 12.30PM MONDAY TO FRIDAY .

We will endeavour to play our part in getting through this crisis, hopefully reducing the impact of the spread of this virus on our health service and our colleagues on the front line.

If you do have a dental emergency, we would ask you to do the following;

1. Please do not arrive at the surgery unannounced; telephone reception first 066-7121275 and the dental team will assess your dental emergency over the phone and ask you some questions in relation to your general health.

2. Please do not attend if you have any symptoms associated with COVID-19, if you have been in contact with someone who has the virus. We can often manage the acute symptoms of a dental emergency with a prescription and we would be happy to arrange this by telephone if possible. If you do need to be seen and you are in a risk category for COVID-19 then we will help arrange this for you via the HSE emergency services.

3. Please attend your appointment alone where possible. This is to minimise the number of people attending the practice.

4. Please attend on time (not early or late), you may be asked to wait in your car to minimise interaction with other patients.

5. You will be asked to use hand sanitizer on arrival in the practice– we would ask you to please comply with this request.

In order to ensure the safety of all our staff and patients , we have now decided to screen all our patients for any signs and symptoms of Coronavirus COVID-19 before they attend with us .

Any patient that has an appointment with us will receive a phone call 24 hours in advance from one of our trained members of staff , to assess their level of risk of exposure to Coronavirus and ascertain if it is appropriate for that person to attend for their dental treatment .

We would also like to ask our patients to attend on their own and not to bring any accompanying adults or children unless they also require dental treatment .If any patient requires assistance entering or leaving the building then please phone us in advance and we can assist that person .

Together we can fight the coronavirus and hopefully we will be all operating to normal within a few weeks.

Thank You .
