The Irish government has placed Ireland on level 5. Despite these new restrictions, the practice remains open as an essential service and we continue to see our patients as normal. We take this opportunity to wish our patients and their families and local businesses the very best in these difficult and challenging times.

Dear patients,
We are planning a phased re-opening of Greenlea Dental over the next several weeks following the update (16/05/2020) from the Minister for Health and the Irish Dental Council.
This re-start will require adherence to HPSC, IDC, IDA and the DBEI's Return to work safely programme before we can begin routine dental treatment again, so please bear with us for another week or two. We are also very busy sourcing all of the necessary PPE so that when we do open your dental treatment will be carried out in a safe way.

Dentists fear the Covid-19 pandemic poses a "grave threat to the nation's oral health", with an overwhelming majority worried that their practices are at high risk of becoming unsustainable.

Dear patients,

In light of the current situation with Covid-19 Greenlea Dental will close tomorrow for 2 weeks. This decision was not made lightly but it is necessary in order to protect our patients, staff and families.

If your child has an accident and their baby tooth is knocked out - it is imperative that you DO NOT try to put the tooth back into the socket you could damage the permanent tooth underneath! Contact a dentist immediately and keep the tooth (if you can) - the dentist will look at the root.
