It is time for another team introduction! Everyone, please give a huge, warm welcome to Ancuta! 👋

Ancuta is our incredibly talented Dental 3D Lab Technician. She has a super impressive background with a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Technology, plus plenty of hands-on experience in dental nursing! 🦷

Her absolute favourite part of the job is the day-to-day variety. She loves being part of such a great clinic family and soaking up new knowledge to keep growing her skills every single day. 🌟

Outside of the lab, Ancuta is all about that relaxed downtime. You can usually find her out on walks with her adorable dog 🐕, getting creative with cooking and baking in the kitchen, or just kicking back to binge a good series with her friends and family. 👩‍🍳

It is that time again! Everyone, please give a huge welcome to Yassin! 👋

Yassin is a Dental Nurse here at Dublin Orthodontics, and we are so incredibly lucky to have him! He has a seriously impressive background, featuring a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery, plus Diplomas in Laser and Healthcare Quality Management. 🦷 With 8 years of experience as a general dentist and a year as a quality supervisor under his belt, his expertise is just unmatched!

If you ask him what his absolute favourite part of the day is, he will tell you it is working with our brilliant team and getting to know all of our wonderful patients. 💙

Outside of the clinic, Yassin likes to keep busy and stay fit by going to the gym and playing football. 🏃‍♂️ And as if he wasn't talented enough already, he also loves making music and plays both the piano and the guitar! 🎹

Wondering what foods you should definitely skip while wearing braces? 🤔🦷

Dr. Ahmed Hennawy from Dublin Orthodontics is back to answer another one of your top questions! If you want to keep your smile journey right on track, there are a few specific types of food you should steer clear of.

First up on the list is anything sticky. 🍬 Treats like chewing gum and caramel are massive troublemakers for your hardware and should be avoided completely.

Next up are hard foods, such as nuts. 🥜 If you are craving something like an apple, you can definitely still enjoy it—just make sure to cut it up into small pieces first rather than biting straight into it!

Finally, you will want to avoid super crunchy snacks like crisps. 🥨

By skipping these sticky, hard, and crunchy foods, you will prevent your braces from breaking and actually help your treatment go a lot faster! ⚡
