At Gracefield Dental we are a family orientated clinic. However, we also specialize in the fields of dental implantology, intravenous sedation and cosmetic dentistry. Dr Jerome P Sullivan, BDS DipImpDent RCS (Eng) was recently awarded an inaugrual Special Medal from the Royal College of Surgeons, London in recoginition of his clinical skills and expertise in the field of Dental Implantology. For the nervous patient, our intravenous sedation service is headed up by Dr Chris Ford. As both a registered dentist and medical practitioner, Dr Ford has an broad knowledge in the field of anesthetics and pain management. At Gracefield Dental the nervous or phobic patient can be assured full relaxation and comfort for their dental treatment. Our lady dentist Dr Sinead Brennan has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and endodontics. Her gentle, fun loving approach also makes her a real hit with our growing army of children at Gracefield dental. Oral health and dental education are promoted enthusiastically at Gracefield Dental. The continuous communication between our dentists and two dental hygienists Claire Heffernan and Paula Lowry ensures the highest standard of oral hygiene is available to all our patients young and old, and diseases such as oral cancer are detected and treated. Dear Patients,
It is of primary importance to us at Gracefield Dental that during this unfolding Covid 19 crisis we do everything in our power to protect our patients, staff, families and indeed the wider community from the virus.
At Present there has been no government directive to close dental services. We are therefore still open but have made necessary adjustments to our normal operating protocols.
1. Patients should not attend casually or book appointments for routine examinations. All hygiene services are cancelled until further notice. Dental emergencies will be facilitated, but only once assessed by telephone.
2. On arrival for your appointment, all patients will be required to wash their hands as per HSE protocol and use hand sanitiser provided.
3. Patients should attend unaccompanied. If this is not possible, please reschedule.
4. Waiting room arrangements have been made so that patients will be separated by the recommended safe distance.
5. If you have flu like symptoms, or have been in contact with a person with flu like symptoms and/or have travelled from an area affected by Covid 19, we ask that you cancel your appointment and contact your GP.
6. Additional, stringent deep hygiene protocols have been implemented throughout the clinic and social distancing must be upheld.
