Back on the rig today after taking some time out to bring our beautiful boy into the world 🌍

This patient completed a comprehensive course of orthodontic treatment with her orthodontist.

Once her teeth were straight and her bite improved, the worn, uneven edges of her upper front teeth were still making her smile look unfinished.

We completed a course of home teeth whitening and then 4 free-hand composite veneers to improve the overall appearance of this smile😍

~Bridge-work to fill a gap that bothered our patient when they smiled~

Here we can see the before and after photographs of a recent bridge case that we completed.

The top photograph shows the gap that was present in the upper left side, which was visible when our patient smiled.

The bottom photograph shows the 2-unit bridge after it was cemented. The gap is completely gone now and in its place is a beautiful porcelain bridge which looks like a natural tooth😍

This patient was very much a nervous dental patient. We worked together over the past 4 years, completing any fillings, extractions etc. What an achievement for this wonderful patient to complete their course of treatment with the cementation of this lovely bridge! Now it will just be ongoing dental check-ups and hygiene appointments to keep things healthy 👏👏

~Old amalgam (silver) filling replaced with tooth coloured composite restoration~

What a glow-up for this patient who disliked the appearance of this old amalgam filling which was making the tooth appear grey when she smiled.

The old amalgam (silver) filling and old composite (white) filling were both removed under rubber dam (blue plastic sheet) isolation this morning🎉

The use of rubber dam meant that none of the old filling was ingested by the patient and also the tooth was kept dry for the bonding of the composite restoration👏

If you have old amalgam fillings that are unsightly or leaking, we can assess them and let you know if replacement is a good option.
