🦷 Another smile transformation completed by Dr. Mike Portas!

Thanks to a comprehensive treatment plan, not only was the appearance of the patient's smile completely transformed, but their comfort and bite function were significantly improved as well.

The patient presented with multiple missing teeth, numerous cavities, dissatisfaction with the appearance of their smile, and the need for both primary and retreatment root canal therapy.

Treatment began with endodontic treatment of five teeth. An intraoral scan was then performed, allowing the future smile to be carefully designed and planned. Using wax-up and mock-up technology, the patient was able to preview the expected result before the final stage of treatment began.

The next step involved minimally invasive tooth preparation, preserving as much natural tooth structure and enamel as possible. The vertical dimension of the bite was also increased by 2.5 mm, improving both function and smile proportions.
