🦷 Multidisciplinary Trauma Rehabilitation

This case involved a traumatic injury resulting in the avulsion (tooth completely knocked out) of the upper right lateral incisor (tooth 2) together with fractures of both the facial and palatal bone plates.

A coordinated team approach was essential for a successful outcome.

Treatment sequence:

Emergency stabilisation of the fractured bone plates — Dr. Clair

Root canal treatment of the remaining three incisors — Dr. Roberto Carredu

Dental implant placement for the missing incisor — Dr. Paul O’Reilly

Final implant restoration — Dr. Clair

The final result restored not only the patient’s smile, but also function, stability, and confidence.
