This case required absolute teamwork between our specialists, our restorative dentists, and an incredibly brave patient.

The Masterplan: ➡️

Phase 1: Desensitisation (The Before). In 2022, the patient was too nervous for treatment. We spent months building trust with simple check-ups and digital scans.

Phase 2: Jaw Correction. We introduced Twin Blocks to tackle a massive 11mm overjet.

Phase 3: The Fine-Tuning. We switched to full metal braces to zip up the final spaces and align the arches.

The Finish Line (The After). As of May 2026, we are officially braces-free! The bite is perfectly seated, and the smile is locked in with dual retainers.

Here is the breakdown:

WHITEN: We brightened her natural teeth to create a fresh, youthful canvas.

Straightening teeth while losing baby teeth? Yes, it’s possible! ✨🦷

When Jakub first came to see us, his mom was worried about his front teeth overlapping. Because he was only 10, he still had a mix of baby and adult teeth.

The Roadmap:

The Choice: Jakub wasn't a fan of traditional metal braces, so we chose Angel Aligner Kids.

The "Magic" of Growth: These clear trays didn't just straighten his teeth; they helped move his back molars to create space for his adult teeth to grow in properly.

Watch this "hidden" tooth join the rest of the crew! 🕵️‍♀️✨

When we first met this patient, she was really self-conscious about one specific tooth that was "hiding" behind her bite (a crossbite).

The Roadmap:

Phase 1: The Move. We used fixed metal braces and a "push spring" to make a parking space for that hiding tooth.

The "Jump": We used some "blue glue" (bite blocks) to temporarily prop her mouth open so the tooth could hop over into the front row. 🧩

Phase 2: The Resize. Once the teeth were straight, some of them looked a bit small (we call these peg laterals). Our dentist, Dr. Stephen Taylor, used Composite Bonding to "size them up" so they matched the rest of her smile perfectly. 🎨
Phase 1: The Move. We used fixed metal braces and a "push spring" to make a parking space for that hidden tooth.
The Result: A balanced, healthy smile that she absolutely loves!
