Holly’s transformation is special to us. When we first met her, she was a nervous patient facing some big challenges: severe crowding, a tooth trapped behind her bite, and some unhealthy back teeth that needed to be removed to make room.

The Road to Success:

The Prep: We started by removing her unhealthy back molars to give the rest of her teeth "parking spaces" to move into.

The Work: We used fixed metal braces and tiny rubber bands to guide her teeth into position.

The Result: Even though she had a rocky start with her extractions, Holly stayed dedicated. Look at that alignment now! 😍

When we first met Alicia, her top teeth were very crowded and sat quite far forward. We had a big job to do: make space and bring her smile back into balance.

How we did it: 1️⃣ The Widener: We started with a small appliance on the roof of her mouth (a QuadHelix) to gently widen her top jaw. 2️⃣ Making Space: We removed two teeth at the top to give the rest of the crew plenty of room to move. 3️⃣ The Train Tracks: Then came the braces! We used "pushing springs" and "rubber bands" to guide every tooth into its new spot. 🚂 4️⃣ The Finishing Line: Today, her gaps are almost closed, and her overbite is looking amazing! 🏁

Turning a dental emergency into a 10/10 smile! ✨🦷

When Rian first came to see us, he was in a lot of pain. Several of his back molars had deep cavities and were in bad shape. Most people would think that means missing teeth for life—but not at College Gate!

The Plan: Instead of just removing the damaged teeth and leaving gaps, our team (Dr. Daniele and Dr. Claire) came up with a "Master Plan." 🧠 We removed the unhealthy back teeth and used braces to "slide" his healthy, strong teeth forward into those spaces!

The Result: Rian saved his smile, avoided expensive implants later in life, and got everything perfectly straight at the same time. We just removed his "support brace" (the Nance appliance) because the move is officially complete! 🏁

This transformation wasn’t just about moving teeth; it was a full team effort.

The Roadmap: 1️⃣ Health First: Before the braces went on, we made sure the teeth were 100% healthy by fixing a few cavities. 2️⃣ Closing the Gaps: We used fixed metal braces to "zip up" the spaces and align the bite. 3️⃣ The Stubborn Tooth: We spent a few months "fine-tuning" one specific tooth (the upper lateral) to make sure it sat perfectly in the row. 4️⃣ The Smooth Finish: After the braces came off, we did some gentle smoothing on the edges of the teeth to give that polished, natural look. 💎

The best part? We did a "half-and-half" finish—taking the bottom braces off first so the patient could get a head start on their new look!

We first met this patient in April 2023. With an 80% overbite and severe crowding, we knew this would be a journey of precision and partnership.

How we did it: 1️⃣ The Foundation: We started with a Nance Appliance to hold space and coordinated with the patient's dentist for strategic extractions. 2️⃣ The Alignment: We used fixed metal braces to guide every tooth into place. 3️⃣ The Heavy Lifting: Through 2024 and 2025, the patient was a superstar with their Class II elastics, helping us reduce a 6mm overjet down to a perfect 2mm! 4️⃣ The Finish: We officially "de-bonded" this month! 🏁

We’ve secured this amazing result with a permanent lower bar and custom Essix retainers. To top it off, we used the patient's account credit for a final dental check-up and scale & polish. 💎

Conor’s journey started in March 2024 with a clear goal: resolve a crossbite and create a healthy, aligned smile. This wasn't just about "straightening teeth"—it was about precision engineering.

The Roadmap to Success:

The Foundation: We started by saying goodbye to a primary canine (URc) with Dr. Daniele to make space for the adult teeth to shine.

The Mechanics: Dr. Kinan Zeno used fixed metallic braces and a series of "elastic challenges" (shoutout to Conor for being a superstar with those red elastics!) to correct the bite.

The Fine-Tuning: In late 2025, we focused on "finishing bends" and "stepping down" specific teeth to ensure the aesthetic line was 10/10.

Today, the braces are off! Conor is heading into 2026 with a perfect Class I occlusion and a smile that is officially "graduation ready." 🎓
