It is essential to wear your aligners for at least 22 hours every day. Otherwise, your teeth will not move as planned, and your treatment will take longer than expected.

Whenever you take your aligners out to eat, drink or clean your teeth, always store them in their protective case. Do this every time, so it becomes a habit.
If you leave your aligners outside of their protective case or wrapped in tissue, they’re more likely to get lost or damaged.

Throughout your aligner treatment, you’ll be able to follow your normal brushing and flossing routine. After eating or drinking, as its not always practical to brush your teeth during the day, take a drink of water before putting your aligners back in to make sure there is no residual food or liquid on your teeth.

It’s also important to keep your aligners fresh and clean. We recommend brushing the aligner with its own soft toothbrush under cold water only. Do not use warm or hot water as this will damage the aligner. We also advise not to use toothpaste to clean your aligners as it can also damage the aligner.
For a thorough clean, we recommend using products such as Retainer Brite.
