This case is of two ceramic onlays or “partial crowns” used to restore a root canalled molar and a heavily restored molar with decay present under the existing filling.

Ceramic onlays are a contemporary treatment usually used instead of the traditional full coverage crown where appropriate. The main difference is that the ceramic onlays allow for much less tooth preparation, preserving much of the tooth structure that would be lost in a traditional crown preparation. Placed correctly a fragile or compromised tooth will usually recover most of its structural integrity.

The use of rubber dam isolation, magnification and digital technology makes the procedure as accurate and predictable as possible.

⭐️ Transformation of a lifetime ⭐️

This here is the definition of life changing dentistry! This patient attended our clinic and saw Dr. Madi for a consultation. She had a missing UR1 as she had an accident as a child and ended up loosing the tooth. She had an acrylic denture but was not happy with the aesthetics as the space had closed over the years making the tooth on the denture smaller than her natural teeth. Dr. Madi set up a treatment plan to completely transform this patients smile by:
1. Invisalign - Invisalign was used to align the teeth and open up a space so the UR1 could be restored aesthetically.
2. Implant - an implant was placed when there was sufficient space.
3. Restoration - An implant crown was then placed to fill the missing tooth space.

This treatment completely changed this patients smile and confidence. This patient told us that she has not stopped smiling since having her treatment completed and can now speak with confidence.
