***Some tips for keeping a healthy mouth this Easter****

1️⃣Balance Treats with Meals 🍽️
Eat sweets with meals, not between. Your mouth produces more saliva during meals, which helps wash away sugar and acids.
2️⃣Go for Chocolate Over Sticky sweets/jellies 🍫🍬
Chocolate (especially dark) washes off your teeth easier than sticky or gummy jellies that cling and promote decay.
3️⃣Avoid eating on chocolate/sweets all day ⏰
Constant snacking keeps sugar on your teeth longer. It’s better to enjoy a treat and be done with it.
4️⃣Drink Plenty of Water 🥛💦
Water helps rinse away sugar and bits of food.
5️⃣Brush and Floss (but Not Immediately)🪥🦷
Wait about 30 minutes after eating acidic sweets before brushing, to avoid damaging enamel. And don’t skip flossing — it gets the spots your brush can’t.
6️⃣Use a Fluoride Toothpaste 👍🏼
It strengthens enamel and protects against cavities.
