Perfection was never the goal, progress was.
In a growing patient, dento-facial orthodontics gave us a window to guide asymmetry, not erase it. This is where it differs from mere orthodontics, it is not just about aligning teeth, but about influencing growth, function, and facial balance itself. What you see here isn’t a perfect face, but a better directed growth, improved balance, and a more stable foundation. Because timing matters, what we can influence during growth we often can’t fully recreate later.
Not flawless, but still evolving.
With growth ongoing, asymmetry remains a moving target. Improved function, especially a more balanced chewing pattern, may continue to refine the outcome over time. Not guaranteed, but biologically plausible. Orthodontics aligns teeth, dento-facial orthodontics works with biology.
Nb: The patient declined to continue settling the occlusion.
