NOT ALL THEMPORARY TEETH ARE THE SAME
There’s a lot of confusion on social media about “temporary teeth.”
Some people think their temporary teeth are the final result, but in reality there are often several stages.
In many smile makeover cases, the process looks like this:
1️⃣ Immediate temporary – made on the day using the shape of your existing teeth, so you never leave without a smile.
2️⃣ Custom PMMA provisional – a stronger, more refined temporary that allows you to test the shape, bite and appearance of your new smile.
3️⃣ Final restorations – your permanent teeth, usually made from zirconia or porcelain.
Each stage has a different purpose, material and lifespan.
Have a look at this infographic—it explains the differences and helps you understand what to expect during treatment.
Temporary teeth are not the final result. They are an important step in creating a smile that looks natural, feels comfortable and functions beautifully.
