Shrinkage used to be the common disadvantage of the tooth-colored composite fillings, but with the new fiber-reinforced and bulk-fill composites, there is no need for incremental placement and still achieve a close-to-zero shrinkage and an amazing compressive and tensile strength (and save a lot of time) 👍🏻

We are finally reaching the mercury-free era of dentistry by changing the old amalgams using proper isolation.
