The aim, of course, is to combine the advancement of theoretical knowledge with the improvement of practical skills. Quite often these courses don’t completely fulfil their promise. This is because not all technical means are available, or shortage of time doesn’t allow the speaker to understand the shortcoming

s of each of the participants. Result: the speaker can not intervene and offer personalized feedback to the learner. It’s true that the dental microscope has helped considerably in the identifying of problems daily faced by the modern dentist. The visual stimuli we receive are considerably strengthened by the magnification. Additionally, with the microscope’s help we can precisely identify our mistakes and learn from them. The visual information that we acquire through the microscope is very important for the process of professional dental practice. It allows us to focus our attention to details, and to derive new experiences which can be transferred again and again in our practice even when we do not use a microscope. For all of the above reasons we start individualized courses in closed groups of up to two people in full-service dental practice with simulated conditions. The seminars have different subjects and each of them is divided into three parts: the theoretical, practical demonstration, and hands on experience.
