👶 Baby Teeth Don't Erupt Randomly — They Follow a Biological Timeline
The first primary tooth to erupt is usually a lower central incisor, typically between 6–10 months of age. While eruption timing varies from child to child, the sequence of eruption is often more important than the exact age.
In most children, the lower central incisors appear first, followed by the upper incisors, first molars, canines, and finally the second molars. By around 3 years of age, most children have a complete set of 20 primary teeth.
A few months earlier or later than average is usually normal. However, significant delays or an unusual eruption pattern are worth discussing with a pediatric dentist.
