🦷 Tooth wear can happen gradually, so it’s easy to miss until your teeth start looking shorter, flatter or become more sensitive.
In this case, the protective enamel had worn away, exposing the softer dentine underneath. Because dentine is much softer than enamel, it wears away more quickly, leading to further loss of tooth structure over time.
Using carefully layered tooth-coloured composite, our dentist rebuilt the worn teeth to restore their shape, function and help protect the remaining natural tooth structure ✨
This top-down view shows just how much tooth structure has been restored!
📞 If you’ve noticed your teeth looking shorter, feeling more sensitive or showing signs of wear, don’t ignore it. Having them checked early can help prevent further damage and may allow for simpler, more conservative treatment.
