The current opening is for a receptionist, to work two or three days a week.
We will give fair consideration to all applicants who offer transferable skills. For example, candidates could:
• Already have a strong career in a customer-facing role and proven organisational skills.
• Or, have previous experience in a dental or medical practice.
Qualified dental nurses are also welcome to apply for the post. They will be primarily a receptionist but, willing to help out in the surgery as and when needed to cover leave and illness.
The ideal applicant will:
• Work two or three days a week (hours and terms to be agreed).
• Welcome and care for patients.
• Manage the diary and communications.
• Show flexibility to keep the practice running smoothly.
• Be able to cover holiday and sickness of other staff members on non-working days.
• Be a positive, proactive member of the team.
Dental nurse applicants need:
• Proof of up-to-date Hepatitis B vaccination.
• A valid DBS check.
For a successful dental nurse applicant , the practice will pay for:
• Appropriate professional indemnity insurance.
• GDC registration.
• In-house training.
