BLS (Basic Life Support) training is a type of medical training that teaches individuals how to respond to emergency situations. This can include administering CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), using an automated external defibrillator (AED), and other life-saving techniques.

BLS training is particularly important in dental practices because patients who receive dental procedures may experience complications such as respiratory or cardiac arrest. Dental professionals who are trained in BLS can provide immediate care to these patients before emergency services arrive.

In addition to helping patients in emergencies, BLS training can also give the dental team confidence and peace of mind in knowing that they are prepared to respond to any emergency situation that may arise.
