Karris is one of our fantastic Dental Nurses here at Church Street Dental Centre 🦷💙

She has been qualified for four years and loves working in dentistry. Karris is always keen to continue learning and developing her skills, with a particular interest in implant dentistry 🌱

Outside of the practice, Karris is a keen runner 🏃‍♀️ and loves spending quality time with her husband and daughter ❤️

Meet the Team 👋 | Dr Simon Albiston

Many of you will already know Simon, who was the owner of Church Street Dental Centre for over 25 years 🦷

During his time leading the practice, Simon also worked as a Foundation Dentist Trainer, helping to mentor and support the next generation of dentists.

With over 30 years’ experience in orthodontics and more than 20 years in dental implants, Simon brings a huge amount of experience to the team.

Having now passed on ownership of the practice, Simon continues to care for his patients here at Church Street — while enjoying a little more time for golf and fishing! 🎣⛳

We’re delighted to still have him as part of the team 💙

Broken a tooth or lost a filling? 🦷

Our Lead Nurse, Sam, explains what to do if you break a tooth or lose a filling.

Don’t panic. It’s a common dental problem, but it’s important to get the area checked.

Avoid chewing on the affected side, keep the area as clean as possible, and contact the practice so we can advise you and arrange an appointment if needed.

If you’re experiencing pain, swelling, sensitivity or the tooth feels sharp, let us know when you contact us so we can help appropriately.

Meet Dr Ottilie Beal, Dentist at Church Street Dental Centre 👋

Ottilie trained at the University of Bristol 🎓 and, having completed her foundation year here at Church Street, is delighted to be continuing her journey with the practice. During her time here, she’s grown very fond of the area and the wonderful community we care for. 💙

Ottilie takes a warm and friendly approach to dentistry, with the aim of helping every patient feel comfortable, informed and confident in their care. 🦷 She’s passionate about prevention and preserving natural teeth and function wherever possible. She also believes in taking the time to discuss all available treatment options, working together with her patients to achieve the best outcome for their individual needs and priorities.

Outside of dentistry, Ottilie enjoys spending time outdoors 🌿, going for walks and hikes with friends 🥾, or simply settling down with a good book and a cup of tea. 📖☕
