Stephen Davies, together with two academic dentists from the Newcastle Dental School has recently published “ Temporomandibular Disorders in Primary Care”
He was asked to be an editor of this book by Springer Nature on behalf of the British Dental Association as he and two other contributors had written the first edition of this book in 2002.

Stephen is the Lecturer in Occlusal and Temporomandibular Studies at the University of Manchester.
He has been accepting referrals at Clinic 334 of patients suffering from suspected a Temporomandibular Disorder and/or Occlusal Difficulty.
Any dentist who wishes to attend Clinic 334 with their patient is most welcome.

Stephen Davies is due to have a paper published in the next edition of Primary Dental Journal, which is the official journal of the College of General Dentisty of which he and Amin Aminian are fellows.

In this paper he describes a lifetime of treating patients with Temporomandibular disorders. More importantly, it describes the way in which the management of these unfortunate patients has developed over several decades.
