Dr Kayleigh Vassel graduated from Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry in 2013. Prior to that she completed her bachelorโs degree in Biochemistry and Music (BSc Hons) from Keele University. Whilst working as a Senior House Officer with Oral and Maxillofacial Specialists, Dr Kayleigh gained a keen interest in Minor Oral Surgery, but also worked alongside consultants in Orthodontic/Orthognath
ic and Oral Cancer surgeries. It was during this post that she achieved her Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) from the Royal College of Surgeons. She has since been working as an Associate Dentist providing both NHS and Private patient-centered dental care, ensuring that evidence-based research is the forefront of her clinical work. Dr Kayleigh prides herself on having effective communication and empathetic skills allowing for patients with high levels of anxiety or dental phobias to be referred to herself for acclimatisation, conditioning and ultimately resulting in successful treatments. Equipped with these diverse dental and oral surgery skills, her aim is to provide holistic and better service to primary care patients. This was further enhanced by expanding her knowledge and skills-set by delivering Medical Aesthetic treatments to her patients. This includes but is not limited to; Anti-Wrinkle Treatments, Dermal Filler Treatments and Skin Treatments. Dr Kayleigh is thoroughly committed to continued professional development and strives to achieve the highest standards attainable to meet her patientsโ needs and give them dental and facial harmonization.
