From crowns to compressions.. because not all our skills belong in the lab! 🦷🫀! 🫀😂

We swapped benchwork for CPR and got hands-on with First Aid training as part of our development within the Corus Group. 🩹 We recognise that First Aid isn’t just a nice-to-have, it’s an important skill that helps keep everyone safe at work.

And let’s be honest… it was un-beat-able fun relearning some pretty important skills! 👏😂

Because you never know when you might need to give someone a tooth… or a chest compression. 👀

The biggest takeaway?

A case where the details really matter 🦷✨

This patient visited the lab for a dedicated shade-matching session and photography, allowing us to carefully assess the natural dentition and plan the restorations.

The case features 3 pressed e.max veneers and a zirconia implant crown from 2–2. One of the biggest challenges in anterior cases like this is achieving a seamless match between zirconia and e.max — not only in shade, but also in translucency, value, surface texture and light reflection.

When different restorative materials meet in the aesthetic zone, communication, photography and careful shade analysis become essential. The goal is simple: make different materials look like they belong together. 🤍
