Well done and congratulations once again to our Dr Andy Denny on completing the Swansea Ironman 70.3 Triathlon last Sunday (1900m sea swim/ 90km bike/ 22km run)
Swansea greeted the competitors with brutally hot race conditions and a strong headwind for the very hilly bike course. “One of the hardest races I’ve ever done “ Was how Andy described it “This wasn’t a PB-chasing day-it was a grit, determination and “just don’t stop” kind of day. And somehow, I got it done.”

A big congratulations to our Dr Andy Denny on his success winning in his Age Group (50-59) at the Dartmouth Standard Distance Triathlon (1500m / 35km / 10km)
He has been training hard over the winter with his coach and following 3rd and 2nd places in his first two races this year was delighted with his first age group podium topping performance.

Congratulations to Dr Andy Denny who after two years chasing a long standing passion of his and only 6 months after his full hip replacement surgery, has completed two long weekends of some of the toughest assessments of his life in Snowdonia is now a qualified Mountain Leader.
