When wearing fixed braces, it’s much easier for plaque and food debris to build up around brackets and wires. If not cleaned thoroughly, this can quickly lead to staining, calculus, and inflamed gums.

This patient attended for a professional clean where I carried out an ultrasonic scale to remove hardened deposits, followed by an air polish to lift staining and leave the teeth smooth and fresh.
