Meet Aga – From Dental Nurse to Treatment Coordinator! ❤️🦷

A familiar face and a valued member of !

Aga has been a loyal and dedicated part of our team for many years, growing from her role as a dental nurse, patient coordinators into one of our Treatment Coordinators.

Working closely with the dentists. Aga helps guide our patients through their Invisalign, dental implant and cosmetic dentistry journeys such as composite or porcelain.

From the initial consultation to discussing treatment options, explaining the process, arranging appointments and supporting patients along the way, Aga is there to make every step feel comfortable and straightforward.

Her clinical background as a dental nurse gives her a great understanding of the treatments we provide, helping patients feel informed and confident in their decisions.

Invisalign complete… now it’s time to plan the finishing touches 🦷✨

Sitting down with Tahila after completing her Invisalign treatment to discuss the next stage of her smile — composite bonding.

Using digital technology, we can look at her new tooth positions together, discuss what she would like to enhance and digitally plan how composite bonding can improve the shape, proportions and overall balance of her smile.

For me, this stage is all about planning — Invisalign gets the teeth into the right position first, then we can use composite bonding conservatively to enhance what’s already there. No cutting of teeth required

From dental trauma to wedding ready 💍🦷

This patient came to us wanting to improve his smile ahead of his wedding day.

He had an edge-to-edge anterior bite with a crossbite, naturally yellow tooth colour and a history of trauma to his upper right central incisor (UR1). This tooth had previously been composite bonded, but you could clearly see the difference in colour compared with the surrounding teeth.

The plan wasn’t simply to add more composite — we wanted to get the foundations right first.

We started with Invisalign and whitening with Dentist Kush and the Watford Smiles team, carefully planning the tooth movements and bite before moving onto the cosmetic finishing.

Once Invisalign was complete, Dr Rooz used an enhanced composite bonding technique across the anterior teeth, carefully layering and shaping the composite to create a natural result while improving the colour, proportions and symmetry.

The aim was enhancement rather than making the teeth look artificial — keeping a natural, masculine smile while giving him a result he could feel confident with for his wedding day. 👌🏽

✨When Invisalign Becomes More Than Cosmetic✨

This patient came to us with a severe anterior crossbite and significant crowding, which was placing excessive pressure on the front teeth. One of the teeth had even become mobile as a result of occlusal trauma.

The first step was to use Invisalign to improve the alignment and the bite, taking the teeth out of that traumatic position and creating a healthier foundation.

Once the teeth were aligned, the previous wear and chipped edges became much clearer. We then completed the smile with professional whitening and composite bonding to restore the damaged edges and refine the final result.

The outcome is a smile that is not only straighter, but also healthier, more balanced and naturally restored.

✨Meet Andreea — Dental Nurse, Admin & Patient Coordinator ✨

Andreea is a key part of , supporting both our patients and the team across several important roles.

As a Dental Nurse, she works alongside our clinicians during treatment, helping appointments run smoothly, preparing the surgery and making sure patients feel comfortable and well cared for throughout their visit.

In her Admin role, Andreea helps keep the practice organised behind the scenes — supporting communication, appointments and the day-to-day systems that help everything run efficiently.

As a Patient Coordinator, she also helps guide patients through their treatment journey, answering questions, explaining next steps, helping with appointments and making sure patients feel supported from consultation through to completion.

It’s a role that brings together clinical support, organisation, communication and patient care — all helping to create the experience we want every patient to have at Watford Smiles.

Lily completed her composite bonding with us at Watford Smiles, carefully enhancing the shape, symmetry and overall balance of her smile while keeping everything natural.

✨ A Subtle Change. A Fuller, More Balanced Smile. ✨

This patient came to Watford Smiles feeling that the front teeth looked a little short, with slightly uneven proportions and a few chipped edges.

Dr Rooz first carried out professional whitening to brighten the smile, followed by composite bonding to carefully rebuild and refine the edges.

For the bonding, Dr Rooz used a layering technique, placing different natural shades of composite within each tooth to better mimic the patient’s own tooth colour.

Just like a natural tooth, the restoration can be built with different tones and translucencies, helping recreate the appearance of dentine, enamel and light reflection rather than using one flat shade.

The aim was not to create a dramatic or artificial change — just to restore the natural tooth shape, improve symmetry and add a little more length and fullness where needed.

The result is a smile that looks brighter, softer, more balanced and completely natural.
