We bring you the first of our Trick or Treatment series (can we tell with love Halloween?!). The team read out a historical dental treatment and guess whether it’s an actual treatment 👀 or a trick…

This patient was conscious of her right front tooth sitting further back in her smile, especially in photos, and would only have pictures taken from one side.

Using two shades of composite, we reshaped the tooth in around an hour, and her reaction says it all.

She couldn’t believe how natural it looked and said it felt like it had “always been there”.

If I go to the pub and have a few drinks, can I take my Invisalign off? Hiren answers our very important question…👀🍻

Our patient came up with a naturally smaller, more pointed ‘peg’ incisor, which had previously had some composite added to it. However, she wasn’t happy with how it looked when she smiled and felt that her smile wasn’t quite symmetrical.

We built the tooth up with composite bonding, carefully blending two shades to create a natural match with her surrounding teeth.

The appointment was around 1.5 hours, and she left on the same day very happy with her smile. 😄
