This week, the wonderful children of Freshwater and Yarmouth School rolled up their sleeves and helped sow seeds for a brand-new wildflower meadow โ a fantastic project that will enhance local biodiversity and bring even more natural beauty to our community.
By planting a rich variety of wildflowers, these young environmental champions are helping to create an important habitat for bees, butterflies and other pollinators, while also making our local area brighter and more vibrant for everyone to enjoy.
It was inspiring to see such enthusiasm, teamwork and care for the environment from the next generation. Small actions today can grow into something truly beautiful for the future.
A huge thank you to all the pupils, staff and volunteers involved in helping our community bloom. ๐ธ๐๐ฟ

Thanks also to Tom Murphy who was commissioned to deliver the works (including leading the children in a rain dance), and Head, Elizabeth Grainger for fully supporting the project.
