Dental Receptionist Vacancy
Cross House Dental Practice is one of the longest established dental practices in Tewkesbury. The practice delivers excellent standards of general, orthodontic and implant dentistry and is focused on patient care.
We are looking to recruit a part-time receptionist to join our friendly and professional team. Previous dental experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
The role
The role of a dental receptionist is very varied and never boring! Working as part of a team, the day to day tasks would include:
- Booking appointments and managing the diary system
- Answering patient queries
- Dealing with telephone calls
- Handling payments
- General administration tasks
- Adhering to practice policies regarding confidentiality
About you
Our reception team are at the forefront of delivering patient care and promoting our practice standards. The ideal candidate will be someone who is friendly, caring, professional and takes pride in their work.
Required skills
- Excellent communication skills both over the phone and face to face
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently and accurately
- High level of IT proficiency
- Willingness to work as part of a team
- Initiative and adaptability
Pay – depending on experience
Hours – 29.8 hours (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday &Friday with flexibility)
Job Type: part-time
Salary: £11.00 per hour
Schedule:
• 7.45 hour shift
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday &Friday

Dental Nurse vacancy @ Cross house Dental Practice, Tewkesbury.

We are seeking to recruit a Qualified/Trainee dental nurse required for 3 days per week to join our friendly team.
Cross House dental Practice is predominantly private dental practice in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. We are established over 70 years.
Opportunity for you to work with two dentists and a hygienists.
Your employment responsibilities will be:
• The dental surgery chair-side assistance
• Setting up the surgery for dental treatment procedures
• Knowledge and application of a wide range of dental instruments and equipment relevant for dental procedures
• Decontamination and preparation of treatment rooms and dental devices.
Provide patient support: Monitoring and reassuring, organising appointments, supporting if there is an emergency
Perform chaperoning duties for other clinical GDC registrants
Follow professional ethical guidelines including all rules on confidentiality
Perform reception duties
Attend agreed development training-induction, external training sessions, practice training sessions and meetings
Job Type: Part-time
