💙 Today is Blue Wednesday, a day dedicated to raising awareness of oral cancer and the importance of early detection. Spotting the signs early can save lives. 💙

👄 How to check yourself at home:
✅ Stand in good light and use a mirror.
✅ Look inside your mouth and feel around your lips, tongue, cheeks, gums, and the roof and floor of your mouth.
✅ Watch out for:

Ulcers or sores that don’t heal within 3 weeks

Red or white patches

Lumps, thickened areas, or unexplained swelling

Persistent pain, hoarseness, or difficulty swallowing

If you notice anything unusual, don’t wait, get it checked.
