Lynbridge Dental Practice Covid update

From the 19th July 2021, we will continue to follow our current procedures which have been in place throughout the pandemic ensuring our patients and staff stay safe.

We will expect everyone entering the practice to social distance and to wear a face covering unless exempt. All of our staff will continue to wear PPE.

Lynbridge Dental Practice will continue to stay open throughout lockdown 3. The Chief Dental Officer has stated that dentistry is considered to be part of essential healthcare.

We shall continue treating every patient safely under the current Standard Operating Procedures.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank our team for their hard work and dedication. Without them we wouldn’t be able to continue to treat our lovely patients.

At Lynbridge Dental Practice we are happy to say that dentistry services are allowed to STAY OPEN for this entire 2nd lockdown. We shall continue treating every patient safely under the current Standard Operating Procedures.
Medical appointments are allowed to continue under the lockdown 2 guidelines, therefore all appointments will continue as normal.
We hope all our patients stay safe and well.

Lynbridge Dental Practice will now be welcoming patients back in a phased manner from 22nd June 2020.
All enquiries should be made by phone to 01822 612828.
Only patients with a pre-arranged appointment can be seen at this stage.
Anyone without an appointment that arrives at the practice will be advised to phone the practice instead. This is due to the limited number of people that we can have in the practice to maintain COVID-19 social distancing measures.
Patients with symptoms of COVID-19 or who are confirmed to have COVID-19 are advised to not enter the practice and to self-isolate at home for 14 days.
Forehead temperatures will be taken inside the practice.
You may wear your own nose and mouth coverings and surgical gloves inside the practice. We will request that you sanitise your hands or surgical gloves inside the practice with the alcohol gel provided. Therefore if you have sanitised your gloves you should not remove them inside the practice.
We will try to give priority to patients who have had pre-booked appointments cancelled along with those that have been triaged during the COVID-19 closure and require follow-up with their own dentist.
Currently in line with recommendations for all practices, procedures that are classed as higher risk for generation of aerosols which may aid transmission of COVID-19 will have to be delayed and patients requiring these treatments will go onto a waiting list for routine fillings, continuation of root-canal treatment, crown and bridge preparation.

On the 28th May 2020, the Chief Dental officer and Prime Minister announced that Dental Practices can begin to reopen once they have the appropriate measures in place .

We are working hard to open as soon as possible and are hoping to welcome our patients back within the next few weeks. Our first priorities must be the safety and peace of mind of our patients and colleagues, so once we have the processes and protective equipment (PPE) in place we will recommence appointments.

To begin with all appointments will be after telephone booking with reception only. Please do not turn up to the practice without an appointment as the door will only be opened to those that have been given an appointment via reception. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we prioritise all those waiting in pain over recent weeks.

In the meantime, our telephone lines remain open from 9am until 12midday and 1pm until 4pm for for those who require urgent advice, and we will be posting updates on our website and this page as circumstances change.

We would like to inform all of our patients that as of Tuesday 24th March Lynbridge Dental Practice will be closed.
This is following on from most recent guidelines regarding the covid-19 pandemic.
If you have a dental emergency please contact the practice on 01822 612828 and follow the answer machine message.
Your message will be triaged by one of our dentists and dealt with accordingly.
We would like to thank all of our patients for your continued support during this difficult time.
We look forward to welcoming our patients back once we are informed it is safe to do so.

ATTENTION FOR ALL LYNBRIDGE DENTAL PATIENTS:
We are now having to follow new guidelines which were issued last night from the Cheif Dental Officer due to the current climate.
We have been advised to limit treatments which use equipment that produce a fine, breathable mist called an aerosol. This is to reduce the risk of spreading the virus from asymptomatic carriers.
Unfortunately, this includes most fillings, root canal treatments and scaling.
If this applies to you please call the practice on 01822 612828 to cancel your appointment.
