Dr. Verj Tooray
Principle Dentist

Verj began his career as a practicing pharmacist and further advanced his medical training by undertaking dentistry at the prestigious Kings College London. He started his dental career in a very reputable implant referral practice in London where he was mentored by dentists who practiced to a very advanced level and who also examined for the Royal college of Surgeons. This rigorous and challenging environment provided a wealth of knowledge and hand skills.

Verj fueled his passion for post graduate learning by further training in Sedation techniques and is certified by the ‘Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry’. He has undertaken hundreds of sedation cases and enjoys helping anxious patients overcome their fears and have that beautiful smile they’ve always wanted. He then went on to undertake training at the Faculty Of General Dental Practice and Royal College of Surgeons England where he obtained his MJDF diploma and is about to complete his Restorative diploma. This training provided mentorship and hands on guidance by specialist and consultant dentists enabling Verj to undertake complex advanced dental treatments.

Verj is an advanced Invisalign orthodontic provider and has treated numerous cases of varying complexity and different age groups. With an interest in cosmetic dentistry Verj has also undertaken training from the ‘extreme makeover’ dentists via the Ash academy.

With an interest in Dental implants Verj began his implant career having trained by Straumann – one of the largest and most popular implant systems in the world. Staying at the forefront of the implant world he then undertook training on a national and international level with Neodent; one of the most advanced and internationally popular implant systems. Verj continues to stay at the forefront of implant dentistry by investing in national and international courses to constantly advance in the field of implant dentistry.

Over the years Verj has developed a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and advanced restorative dentistry. This includes Invisalign teeth straightening, dental implants and surgical procedures. He is a strong believer in using the most modern, innovative and evidence-based techniques accompanied with digital dentistry and smile design software.

Finally, because Verj is also a pharmacist he has an excellent knowledge of medication. He is able to take into account other medications our patients may be taking and take a holistic approach to dental well-being; respecting the link between dental health and other systemic illnesses.

In his spare time Verj enjoys visiting the gym, movies, music, meditation/yoga and socializing with friends and family.
