We’re looking for a Dental Nurse to join our team!

We’re a small, fully private practice in Swindon, with a particular focus on implant dentistry, sedation and high-quality patient care.

We’re looking for someone who is warm, reliable and eager to learn. Someone who takes pride in their work, notices the small details and genuinely cares about the patients they look after.

You’ll be joining an experienced and supportive team, with plenty of opportunities to develop your skills and gain experience in implant dentistry, sedation and more advanced procedures.

Experience is not essential!... Attitude matters much more to us.

It’s a question we get asked quite often, and the answer isn’t quite as simple as saying one is better than the other.

Electric toothbrushes can offer helpful features such as timers and pressure sensors, while a manual toothbrush can still do a great job when you use the right technique.

The most important thing is finding a toothbrush that works for you and using it consistently. If you’re unsure what would be best for your teeth and gums, your dentist or hygienist can always give you some guidance 🤍

Not sure what to expect when you see the hygienist?

A hygiene appointment is about more than just having your teeth cleaned. It’s an opportunity to check in on your oral health, talk through any concerns and make sure you feel confident looking after your teeth at home.

Whether you’re a regular at the hygienist or it’s been a little while, we’ll make sure you feel comfortable, answer any questions you have and talk you through anything we think could help your oral health.

We’re looking forward to heading to Birmingham next month for the International Team for Implantology (ITI) Congress, where three members of our team will be sharing their knowledge with fellow dental professionals.

Gemma and Pratik will be presenting a lecture to nurses on sinus bone grafting, while Karen will be speaking to hygienists and therapists about the management of infection around dental implants.

The team are heavily involved with the ITI at a national level, so it’s fantastic to see them each taking part in the programme and contributing to the education of other members of the profession.

Continuing to learn is an important part of what we do, but so is sharing that knowledge with others. We’re really proud to have a team so involved in further education across different areas of dentistry.
