This 47-yr old man was referred to the practice for an implant but he also didn't like the crowded lower teeth.

At the consultation appointment, using photographs and a scan of the teeth using our iTero scanner (, no impressions needed!), helped me to show the patient the extent of wear that his teeth had suffered over the years, why it was important to protect them and how we can restore them AND protect them for the future.

We discussed the idea of using not only to improve the crowded lower teeth but also to create space to restore the broken tooth instead of taking it out and replacing it with an implant.

Therefore:
7 months of Invisalign treatment
Root canal treatment for upper left broken tooth
All-ceramic crown to restore the tooth permanently
Composite bonding for three upper teeth and six lower teeth
And 11 months later, we have a happy patient with a confident smile

Further refinements and whitening were planned as part of the package but he was very pleased with the natural result achieved by this stage and wanted to leave things as they are.
