Dr. Monica Neil is currently accepting new referrals for Specialist Paediatric Dental care at the Confident Dental & Implant Clinics in Stroud and Clevelands, Bishop’s Cleeve in Gloucestershire. Monica is also a hospital Consultant and Honorary Senior Lecturer working at Cardiff University Dental Hospital and Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital for Wales. She was previously a Consultant at Chelsea & We
stminster Hospital, London for two years. Monica has worked as a Specialist Paediatric Dentist at Great Ormond Street Hospital where she was the first dentist to be nominated for a prestigious Great Ormond Street Hospital Staff Award. She completed her Specialist training in Paediatric Dentistry at Guy’s Hospital, London, passing her Membership in Paediatric Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and has also passed an MSc in Paediatric Dentistry with Merit from King’s College, London which has helped to ensure she is providing evidence based dentistry to an optimal standard. Monica completed her Consultant training at the Eastman Dental Institute, UCLH, London and has also worked as Paediatric Dentist on the Surrey Multidisciplinary team for children with Cleft Lip and/or Palate for six years and Birmingham Children’s Hospital. Her research has been published in internationally renowned journals including the International Journal of Paediatric Dentistry and she has been invited to speak across the world including Germany, Korea and Switzerland. She has won multiple national and regional prizes including two prizes awarded by the British Dental Association.
