Mucocele Removal – Healing Progress

This series shows the before and after of the removal and the normal healing of a mucocele, which is a small, fluid-filled bump that forms on the inside of the lip when a saliva gland becomes blocked.

The patient said "It was an overall seamless procedure start to finish. The procedure was quick and didn't get much discomfort during the healing process either! I felt very comfortable in the chair, Michael took his time to discuss everything in detail before hand- very happy with the result and care provided."

✔ Make sure you are using a piece of floss long enough to easily manouver
✔ Wrap it around your fingers and guide gently
✔ Curve it into a “C” shape around each tooth
✔ Slide under the gumline (gently!)
✔ Use a clean section for each tooth

Flossing isn’t just about removing food — it’s about cleaning where your toothbrush can’t reach.
