π€Product Reviewπ€
Our friends at brush-baby have kindly gifted us their new SoftBrush to try, so Ted and I can share our thoughts.
Ted is 11 months old and currently has 4 teeth, with two more due to make an appearance soon. We never normally have an issue with brushing Tedβs teeth, but recently his gums have been so sore that he wonβt let us brush with his usual toothbrush.
When we received the SoftBrush, I thought it looked perfect for teething kiddies who might be suffering with tender gums. We have been using the SoftBrush twice a day for a week and hereβs what we think:
π€ Small, compact head - ideal for accessing all the nooks and crannies in little mouths
π€ 6000 ultra soft bristles - soft and gentle on sore gums but dense enough to remove harmful plaque buildup
π€ The bristles are coated in nano-silver - Silver has antibacterial and anti-fungal properties which helps to control the growth of plaque bacteria.
π€ The handle is the perfect size for little hands. It is also long and non-slip which makes it easy for grown-ups to manoeuvre.
π€ The brushes come in a pack of two - Ted can keep his hands occupied with one whilst I brush with the other. Also good for modelling technique (grownups can demonstrate how to brush so kiddies can copy)
Being a Dental Therapist, I am extremely picky with what toothbrushes I am happy for Ted to use; the Brush-baby SoftBrush gets a thumbs up from me! Brushing our little onesβ teeth can sometimes be a difficult task, so anything that makes it easier for grownups and more comfortable for children is a big plus.
Thank you again Brush-Baby for gifting us your new brush!
