We couldn’t be prouder! Two phenomenal endurance achievements from two of our own! 🏅

A huge congratulations to Ben Wild, our Chief Clinical Officer, and David Birkin, Clinical Director at Alpha Dental Catterick, for completing the Montane Lakeland 50 and 100 this weekend.

These races are among the toughest endurance challenges in the UK, taking runners across demanding mountain trails in the Lake District.

🏃 Ben completed the Lakeland 50 — 50 miles (80km) with more than 3,100 metres (10,200 feet) of climbing — in an incredible 15 hours and 29 minutes.

🏃 David completed the legendary Lakeland 100 — 105 miles (168km) with more than 6,300 metres (20,700 feet) of climbing — crossing the finish line after an astonishing 38 hours.

That means tackling steep mountain trails, unpredictable weather, running through the night and pushing through without sleep.

An absolutely phenomenal effort from you both. Everyone at Riverdale Healthcare is incredibly proud of what you’ve achieved.
