Focusing on safe smile makeovers, she mostly carries out treatments such as teeth straightening with Invisalign, teeth whitening, composite bonding and porcelain veneers. A collaborative smile makeover!

One of the things that’s really important to me when building our team is making sure everyone is able to utilise their full scope of practice. 🤍

This case is a perfect example of why I love having a dental therapist as part of our team.

Our dental therapist Rea carried out the initial assessment, whitening and composite bonding, before I stepped in to complete the new crown and denture.

Different clinicians, different skill sets, but one joined-up treatment journey.

I love that our patients can have their treatment planned and delivered by the right members of the team, all under one roof, without having to be passed from practice to practice.

For me, it’s about building a team where everyone gets to do what they’re trained and passionate about and ultimately, creating a better experience for our patients. 🦷✨

A new ceramic crown placed

Finally a denture was placed on the upper canine until the patient is suitable for an implant!

S A R A H

Sarah had an already beautiful smile. She was looking for an improvement to the widths of her teeth and to remove the translucent edges. Her husband is a dentist and he recommended me to achieve this with composite bonding.

We carried out:
Minimal laser gum contouring to two teeth to even out the gingival display
Composite bonding to 8 teeth to widen Sarah’s smile and give a brighter fuller appearance.

Treating other dental professionals 😬 an honour but a tiny wee bit more pressure. Rhona is a dental nurse in a different practice and she was referred to me by her dentist.

This patient was referred to me by 🦷 Dr Chris Jordan as he was nearing the end of alignment treatment with her. Chris had thought about the ratios of the teeth (🙌🏽) and left spaces around certain teeth as they would look more in proportion if they were widened rather than have the gaps closed.

After clear aligner therapy, I carried out the final piece to the puzzle and hand layered 6 composite veneers.

A smile ready for the biggest day of this patients life… her wedding day!

We had a deadline to complete this case and we finished with 4 months to go 😀

This patient had large spaces between her lower teeth and poorly proportioned top teeth that were in need of a colour and shape improvement.

We carried out Invisalign clear aligners, professional grade teeth whitening and then I hand crafted 8 composite veneers to complete this smile makeover.

A super happy and confident patient ready for her wedding day!

P.s - fiancés, you are not safe! this patient brought in her soon to be husband a week later to see what improvements could be made before the big day! 😆

Emma works in dentistry and has worked alongside lots of cosmetic dental practices, so she came into this knowing exactly what she liked (and what she didn’t!) and had a really clear idea of how she wanted her smile to look.

It was such an honour that she chose me to do it for her.

We kept the treatment really simple and conservative, using Invisalign clear aligners first to get everything into the right position, followed by whitening and then 6 freehand composite bonds to finish everything off and perfect the shape and symmetry of her smile.

I’m so happy with how natural this looks and, more importantly, how much Emma loves it
