We are delighted to say we have opened our waiting list again for NEW NHS patients. If you would like to join the practice please contact our reception staff on 01560 485 028 or pop in to the practice. Our staff will take some details and contact you when spaces come available. We have spaces for new patient exams coming up in the next few weeks.

We have tried to contact all patients already on our waiting list. If you feel you have been missed please contact the practice.

Blair and Burnett Dental Practice are looking for a trainee dental nurse to join the team with a start date in the next few weeks. The position is part of a Modern Apprenticeship qualification with training supported by Ayrshire and Arran Healthboard. This is best suited to those aged 16-19. All ages are welcome to apply however training charges will apply to those above age 19.

The recommended entry requirements for the training course are 3 National 5 qualifications including English, Maths and a science. However exceptions could be made for the right candidate.

The position is a minimum of three days,potentially changing to four with scope for extra days to cover holiday and sick leave.

We are happy to support a dental nurse already in training.

Due to the red severe weather warning for tomorrow and following advice from Ayrshire & Arran Healthboard ,we have made the decision to close the practice on Friday 24th January. This is for the safety of patients and to reduce the risk to our staff members.

We have tried to contact all patients today and apologise for any inconvenience caused. Emergency care is available by phoning 01560 485028 and our voicemail will give further instructions.

****UPDATE: phones now up and running. ******

The phones at the practice are currently down. We are in contact with our supplier to rectify the problem.

If anyone needs to contact the practice urgently please Facebook message or come in to the practice.

We shut for lunch between 1230 and 1330. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

Laura, Fiona and staff would like to wish all our patients a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thank you for the support and gifts over the festive period.

We are delighted to say we have caught up with our patients after COVID. If you feel you have been missed please contact the practice and we will organise an examination appointment.

We are also able to open our books to NEW NHS PATIENTS in the new year. Our nursing staff will take your name, address, date of birth and contact details and add to a waiting list which we will work through over the next few months.

Good afternoon

According to our computer system we have made attempts to contact everyone that was due to have dental appointments during COVID. We understand addresses and phone numbers can change and therefore we may not have contacted all our patients.

If you feel you are due an examination appointment please contact the practice on 01560 485 028.

We don’t have scope to register new NHS patients at present but hope to offer this in the near future.

We are having emergency electrical work carried out in the practice this morning. As a result we have no access to our computer system or phone lines.
