🏃‍♀️🎉 A huge well done to our Head Nurse Hannah! 🎉🏅

Last weekend, Hannah completed the Manchester Half Marathon in an amazing 2 hours 21 minutes – her very first race! 👏🙌

After all the training and hard work, she crossed that finish line and achieved something brilliant! 💪❤️

And the best news? Her legs are finally feeling back to normal! 😂🦵

🦷 Did you know? It's not just sugar that can damage your teeth... Acid is a major culprit too!

Foods and drinks like fizzy drinks, fruit juices, sports drinks, w**e, citrus fruits and even flavoured sparkling water can gradually wear away your tooth enamel. This is called dental erosion and the damage is irreversible.

💡 Protect your smile by:
✅ Drinking acidic drinks with meals rather than sipping throughout the day.
✅ Using a straw where possible to reduce contact with your teeth.
✅ Rinsing your mouth with water after acidic foods or drinks.
✅ Waiting at least 30 minutes before brushing your teeth, as brushing immediately after acid exposure can wear away softened enamel.
✅ Eating citrus fruits with something fatty, like cheese or yoghurt, to help buffer the acid.

Erosion of the teeth can sometimes cause tooth sensitivity.
We check for signs of tooth wear and dental erosion at every dental health check! 🦷
