If you caught Who Do You Think You Are? this evening on BBC One, you’ll have seen actor Toby Jones visit Stoke-on-Trent to explore his family history.
Here’s an image from the parish register for the Church of the Resurrection in Dresden showing the marriage of Toby Jones’ grandparents.

Records such as these contain fascinating details of occupations, addresses, ages, and witness’ names. If you’re interested in researching your own family history, we have a wealth of resources to look at.
