Southport House Dental Practice is looking for a part time receptionist to join our friendly well-established team.

The ideal candidate will have specific reception experience. As a dental receptionist, you will be a great communicator that really cares about providing excellent care to our patients.

The role will include

● Greeting patients
●Registering new patients
●Assisting patients in completing all necessary forms and documents
● Utilising and updating systems as necessary
● Working in compliance with privacy and security regulations
● Answering and managing incoming calls in a friendly and helpful manner
● Cash handling
●Responding to information requests
●Scheduling appointment

What we are looking for
● Outstanding organisation skills with the ability to multitask
●Strong communication skills
● Friendly and approachable
● 28 hours per week
●Able to work in a fast pace environment

As you may have seen the government announced last night that dentists can see face to face patients from June 8th. This was as much of a surprise for the dental profession as it was for the public.

We are currently waiting for further guidance and will be having staff meetings over the next few days to try and set the practice up so we can see patients as safely as possible.

At this time we do not know what type of appointments we will be able to book in.
If you have an emergency please ring the practice but if you are just trying to book a check up please leave it until later next week when we have more information.
