We regularly treat nervous patients and aim to deliver a soothing, supportive environment that allows you to feel at ease throughout your en

tire journey with us. We’re well known in the area for our expertise in placing dental implants and we offer ‘smile in a day’ treatment, where you can get new teeth in just one day. We also accept dentist referrals from all over Southampton. You don’t need insurance to visit us and we accept a range of payment options.

Meet The Team Mondays✨

Continuing our new Mini-Series, this week we would like to introduce you to Amanda Briggs, Our Practice Manager.

Amanda has been an integral part of our dental practice since 2021! Originally trained as a dental nurse, Amanda brings a wealth of experience from various settings in the field. After a rewarding 13-year career in nursing, she decided to hang up her scrubs and venture into the world of practice management. However, she still puts the scrubs back on from time to time, showcasing her passion for dentistry. We’re lucky to have Amanda’s leadership and vibrant spirit guiding our team!

Fun fact: Several years ago, Amanda was a competitive gymnast! Her team achieved the title of British Champions and proudly secured 5th place in the Team Gym European Championships.

In her spare time, she enjoys socializing with friends and taking her miniature labradoodle, Willow, for long woodland walks.

Introducing Cassie...

One of our newest members of the team. Cassie joined Dental Confidence in October 2024 and has been studying to become a Dental Nurse for the past year and is due to qualify sometime in 2025.

Her gentle nature and dedication to patient care makes her a fantastic addition to our team. You'll find Cassie either front of house on reception or assisting our clinicians in the surgery.

In her spare time she is committed to her studies and enjoys spending time with her family & friends.

This week, we’re excited to introduce Aleksandra Tobiszewska (Aleks)!

Aleks is a highly qualified and accomplished general dentist with a passion for implant dentistry. With 15 years of experience, she has been placing dental implants for the past 10 years, and her commitment to patient care is truly exceptional. We’re thrilled to have Aleks as part of our team!

Dr. Aleksandra firmly believes that dentistry goes beyond just treating teeth - it’s about restoring confidence, improving well-being and fostering long-term relationships built on trust

Fun fact: Aleks once voiced YouTube videos for her husband’s channel, and one of them has nearly 1 million views!

Introducing Stefano Masilla – Our Specialist Periodontist 🦷

We’re pleased to Introduce Stefano Masilla. As a highly skilled Periodontist, Stefano focuses on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease, as well as surgical interventions, including soft tissue grafting and implant-related procedures.

After earning his BDS from the European University of Madrid in 2017, he completed a Master of Clinical Dentistry in Periodontology at University College London and the Royal College of Surgeons in 2024.

Since moving to England in 2018, Stefano has focused on delivering patient centered, evidence-based care, with an emphasis on prevention and minimally invasive techniques. He stays current with the latest advances to provide effective and comfortable treatments.

Outside of dentistry, Stefano enjoys football, tennis, and cycling, reflecting his passion for health and wellbeing.

🌟 Meet the Team Monday! 🌟

This week, we’re thrilled to introduce the wonderful Miquelina, one of our dedicated Dental Nurses here at Dental Confidence. Her journey to where she is today has been nothing short of inspiring.

Miquelina began her career back in 1995 as a Personal Assistant, but in 2000, she decided to follow her passion and became a Dental Nurse in Madeira, her hometown. She went on to spend 15 years as a receptionist, combining her love of patient care with her exceptional organizational skills. In 2015, she made the exciting move to England, where her career took a brief but delicious detour—she qualified as a sous chef, driven by her love of cooking. However, her passion for dentistry called her back, and in 2018, she requalified as a Dental Nurse.

Since joining Dental Confidence in 2022, Miquelina has brought warmth, expertise, and dedication to our team and our patients. When she’s not working, Miquelina loves spending time in nature, enjoying picnics with her family, and taking long walks with her five dogs. She also has a passion for driving and exploring the UK, so if you have any road trip suggestions, be sure to let her know!

🌟 Meet the Team Monday 🌟

This week, we’re delighted to introduce Grant, one of our exceptional hygienists at Dental Confidence.

Grant’s journey into dentistry has been both diverse and inspiring. He began his career as a trainee dental nurse in Zimbabwe before qualifying in the UK in 2012. Demonstrating his passion and dedication to the field, he progressed to become a practice manager.

After taking a well-earned break to embark on an unforgettable ski season in Lapland—chasing the magical Northern Lights—Grant returned to pursue his true calling. In 2024, he qualified as a dental hygienist, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective.

When he’s not in the practice, Grant treasures his time at home, enjoying fun-filled moments with his two beautiful children. His warmth, enthusiasm, and dedication make him a valued member of our team and popular among our patients.

We'd like to introduce you to Tom, one of our fantastic hygienists here at Dental Confidence!

Tom joined our practice in 2022, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and experience. He holds a Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy from the University of Sheffield (2012) and a Certificate of Higher Education in Dental Nursing from the University of Portsmouth (2009). Our patients love him for his friendly and professional approach! We’re so lucky to have Tom on our team!

When he’s not at work, Tom enjoys spending time with his family and traveling whenever he can. He’s also passionate about volunteering, especially helping children learn to read and getting young kids involved in sports and activities.

This week, we’re excited to introduce Karen!

Karen has been a cherished member of Dental Confidence for 10 years, always greeting our patients with her friendly demeanor and warm smile. Her welcoming presence makes every visit a pleasant experience. We’re so grateful to have Karen on our team!

Fun fact: Karen is an avid Formula 1 fan and has followed McLaren Racing since she was young. She was also a member of the Southampton & Eastleigh Athletics Club, where she had the privilege of sharing the track with notable athletes like Roger Black and the late Todd Bennett.

Nowadays, she enjoys gardening, reading, solving word games, and spending quality time with her family and dog.
