Not sure what to expect at your New Patient Examination?🦷🪥
We've put together a simple step-by-step guide to walk you through your appointment, so you'll know exactly what to expect from the moment you arrive:
When you arrive at the practice, you will be warmly welcomed by our friendly receptionist, Donna, who will help you complete the necessary registration forms.
Once your paperwork has been completed, one of our dental nurses will introduce herself and accompany you through to the surgery, where you will meet your dentist.
During your appointment, the dentist will carry out a thorough examination of your teeth, gums, and overall oral health. Any necessary radiographs (X-rays) will be taken free of charge to allow for a comprehensive assessment.
Your dental nurse will then take clinical photographs, which, alongside your examination findings and X-rays, will help provide a complete picture of your oral health.
At the end of your appointment, your dentist will review all findings with you in detail. They will show and explain your X-rays, photographs, any diagnoses, and discuss any recommended treatments. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and fully understand your options before a personalised treatment plan is created to help you achieve and maintain a healthy smile😁✨
