Thank you to our patients for being patient with us whilst some of our waiting areas had a makeover. I'm sure you'll agree the mild inconvenience was worth it 😀🌹

♻️ The practice has been recording progress on sustainability issues since June 2021, an update was shared on our progress.
Some changes were implemented including eco-friendly stock items, swapping plastic instruments in the surgery for reusable metal ones, changes to our disinfection method, eliminating the use of wipes, recycling of uncontaminated clinical pouches. On the desk we have been emailing appointments since January 2024, cutting out paper use.
We are still trialling & swapping to more eco friendly stock items & hoping to build on our progress.
Don't forget we still have the recycling box in our waiting area for used oral hygiene products. With this alone, we managed to recycle 3.66kg - so a huge thank you to all who have recycled items with us.

The total reduction of clinical waste so far is 59 bags, a total of 295 kilos - which equates to the size of a full grown female polar bear!!!!!
Amazing!!! A huge well done to our team, especially Debra & Nicola who are our green ambassadors 👏👏👏 ♻️
