We are looking for a part time receptionist
for busy NHS dental practice.

21 hours a week contracted hours

As a Dental Receptionist role and responsibilities:

• Meeting patients and visitors
• Booking and amending appointments, answering phones and updating patients records
• Handling payments
• making patients aware of what the practice has to offer
• Supporting the practice manager and clinical team to ensure smooth running of the practice

Skills:
• You must be motivated, friendly, organised with good communication skills
• Have the ability to keep calm and professional in a fast paced environment
• Pervious administration or reception experience (Full training will be given to the right candidate)
• A good understanding of Microsoft word and Outlook

Full training will be provided.

Salary: From £11.00 per hour

What will I be doing?

As the Head Nurse, you will promote our company ethos of delivering excellent patient care. You will lead the nursing team to deliver its goals, and work on developing the business to offer the best possible patient experience.

The Role

Line management responsibility for dental nurses in conjunction with the Practice Manager, including responsibility for appraisal and personal development.
Supporting the clinical team to deliver their objectives.
Ensuring the practice is operating effectively (financially) by managing department costs effectively and identifying opportunities to make improvements.
Providing reports required by the company to facilitate the smooth operation of the practice.
Keep all practice documentation up to date including policies, procedures and handbooks
Ensure practice compliance with all CQC and governing body requirements

Duties to include

• Cleaning of waiting areas and reception areas - dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping
• Restroom cleaning
• Vacuuming and mopping of clinical areas.
• Cleaning equipment and colour coded items are provided
• Clean internal windows
• Clean external door and parking area
• Empty no clinical bins
• follow all health and safety requirements and COSHH
• Fill in tick sheets for each day

Working hours to be decided

Monday 08:00 - 18:30
Tuesday 09:00 - 15:00
Friday 14:00 - 20:00 (Flexibility to support holiday and sickness when required)
Weekends on a rota basis
Saturday 09:00-12:30 and Sunday 09:00 -13:00
