GDC REGISTRATION UPDATE – GOING DIGITAL

From 25 March 2026, the General Dental Council (GDC) is launching a brand new online system called MyGDC

What does this mean?
All new GDC registration applications will now be completed fully online no more old forms or email-heavy processes.

Upload documents directly
Track progress in real time
Receive notifications if action is needed

Important for anyone mid-application:
If you started your application before 24 March, you’ll have 3 months to complete it otherwise you’ll need to start again using the new system.

Evidence needed
GDC standards

This is simply a more streamlined, user-friendly way of applying

For practices:
Worth checking in with any new recruits or trainee nurses to make sure they’re aware of the change and don’t miss deadlines.
